We are delighted to receive a rating of ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the body that regulates all hospitals, health and social care providers following our inspection of Great Houghton in August. This rating provides evidence that our service is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
The report provides a clear endorsement of our hardworking and dedicated staff. Within the report CQC stated that staff were caring and supportive to the people who used the service. Both staff and management were committed to ensuring people received the best possible care in a homely environment. Staff were committed to supporting people achieve their full potential, and the staff committed to people who use the service.
