We have had great success enjoying trips to the community allotment. We were thrilled to received a grant from Barnsley MBC and with the support of Councillor Dorothy Higginbottom and Twiggs Gardening Services we continue to progress this fantastic extension to our service.
We are hoping to further develop the allotment by creating a classroom to allow visits and learning over the Winter season. We are also in discussions to create sensory mosaic walkways and plans for further planting and development.
We are looking for volunteers to get involved and for donations to help us keep this wonderful facility going.
We are always happy to hear ideas for progressing our allotment and we think this is a fantastic opportunity for our residents.
